CheeseCake Recipe

Salam,

since am back on track with cooking & baking lately .. I would like to share with you my cheesecake recipe .. this is the baked one .. which much more yummy & delicious than the fridge easy one .. this one might take looong time .. but it worth's it !!

you will need such a pan ..

Ingredients :

• Digestive Biscuit ( round one packet depends on how big is yr cheesecake pan & how thick you like the crust )
• Cream Cheese - Philadelphia - ( 300 to 400 Grams )
• 3/4 Cup Sugar ( granulated )
• 1/2 Cup all purpose flour
• 1 pack Dream whip ( 2 bags )
• 1/2 to 3/4 Cup Cold milk
• Butter ( no specific amount depends on how the crust will hold )
• 3 eggs
• small spoon of lemon juice
• Vanilla
• Fresh Strawberries
• Strawberry Jelly

Steps :



crush the digestive till it become smooth but not very smooth ,,



add 1/4 cup sugar to it ..



add butter

press the crust mix on the pan very well ..
& keep it in fridge .. for min 30 minutes to 1 hr





prepare the whipping cream by adding dream whip & milk & beat it till it get all fluffy & creamy
& keep it in fridge till you need it later



in a big bowl add the cheese & let it to be in room temperature to be easy to mix ..



add the rest of sugar to it & mix it well




add some flour & mix it .. then 1 egg & more flour & egg .. till you mix it all






add vanilla & lemon ..


slowly add the whipping Cream ..




mix it all well ..




heat the oven on 200 degree C


take out the pan with crust from freezer & pour the mix in it ..




put it in the over for 15 - 20 minutes ..
then lower the temperature to 100 or 80 for an hour .. you will see that the mix started to get hard from top but not firm ..





after that take it out & leave to get cold in room temperature for round 30 - 40 minutes then when it totally cooled down .. put it in fridge for at least an hour or more to get really hard




then take it out & garnish the surface delicately with strawberries or whatever you like on it ..




in a cup mix the jelly with hot water till it dissolved .. then add very cold water to it .. & pur in slowly with a big spoon on the strawberries ...





take it back to the fridge for an extra hour .. then take it out & open the pan




& that's it ;)

hope everyone is good .. I haven't been updating my blog lately as usual cause I was & still busy with university & etc .. had a week off which was very relaxing & I never wanted to go back to uni again :/ !!
I've just started a diet lately but it seems I screwed it up this weekend :/ !! but I try to drink as much as I can as my dear The Lost Dot lol
& speaking about diet .. I cleaned my closet !! literary I did :p & still in the process to clean it more ! which made me with no clothes :/ except pjs which seems I have more than enough from them ! & I can't get enough XD
so some retail therapy was needed.. & who said u can have enough SHOES !!
The sweet thing was that my 7ettoh got me couple of new things also lol & she said there is more XD haha !! I guess I might need an etra closet soon ..
I soo want to get couple pairs of harems & jeggings <3>
I was able to meet up with 7ettoh last week which was just great .. though it was quick :( hoping to make it soon inshallah & have a proper girls day out with her ;)

the most important quality in that place is intimacy ! the traditional style with the modern architecture around the area in down town burj Dubai make that place distinguished & unique ..
The hotel is very cozy & family like .. you will always feel like home with a touch of luxury ..
the main focus is in rich fabrics & patterns in furniture .. strong colors mixed with nude tones .. it show in the oriental materials mostly .. also the amazing pieces of furniture

how are you ? I know that I've been extremely lazy lately .. I don't reply on you :( sorry .. uni just suck all the time I have .. it's sucking life out of me


& yah am still in a big dilemma on where to take my gang to celebrate my 25th BD




my graduation project area is in Deira .. so surveys & photoshoots are a MUST ! everyone thinks it's easy for me to take pictures since am as they say * very good * to know if I am or not check my account HERE
anyway, it's been a long time since I got a good picture that satisfys me .. I have the ideas but not the time to excute them well .. so i prefere not wasting them over poor outcome ! I went to Bastakiyah for the Bazaar they are having .. enjoyed the place really ..



then we took a ride in one of those small boats (3brah) in the creek to move from Bur Dubai to Deirah .. it was an interesting experience ..



I left my family in the boat & started my work .. my collegue Marwah was there .. we missed Sarah this time .. so we started surveying the place with extenxive snaps .. ppl kept asking what we were doing, laugh @ us & etc .. we totally got burned by sun since we started round 1:30pm & ended it round 4:00pm



we enjoyed the long exhausting walk .. but the good find was those indian slippers which are amazing




I was really starving the time I got home .. didn't have breakfast :/ the only thing was Fruits Cocktail while walking .. which turned to be reaaaaally GOOOOOOD



@ the end I was ( undescriable ) LOL

Dress Code

this topic been in my head lately after I started going to uni again .. & as most of you know .. it's a fashion show in here !!

me & my friend F been been having our lunches in the food courts .. & start talking .. & all the talk goes directly about the air heads :p .. seriously they are .. cause some follow fashion blindly ! no personality ... no sense of style .. nothing @ all .. & the most imp thing is the DRESS CODE ..



which in my my opinion alot of people don't know what is it ..
OK , I can be a bit conservative sometimes in my clothes specially in Souk/Souq aka Shopping centers & etc .. also in uni .. both places require simple .. practical outfits .. & the most imp thing is being covered well .. am not exaggerating ! am normal .. well I try my best to cover my hair & wear decent abayas ( not tight & nor see through if u know what i mean :p )

what I have been seeing lately is girls who are over dressed for uni or even mornings :/


I'll be giving examples of what am seeing :

- rising hair pumps on the heads ( exceeding the Burj Dubai height XD ) weither from the back or the front hair ..


- over designed abahays which are in my case I'll be wearing 2 my friend's house or an occasion ..

- flashy trashy shades of pink lipstick that can glow & strick u a mile away >_<



- the useless job of sheilah ( hejab ) when it's all day over yr shoulders !

- tight 3bayas on specific parts of the body & see through materials .. COME ON !! why the hell are you wearing it ?!! I can't get it how their families let them leave home looking like %$*^#!

- I am not against open abayas ! but tights & leggings ! with short ( veeeery short ) dresses or tops :/ & wide cut necklines & with parts of underwears appearing>_< - the glitry & blingy stuff .. over glitery I mean .. waaay over bling bling that the known :/ it's morning people .. I don't need to wear an extra sunglass 2 protect my eyes ..

- not forgetting the make up ! I mean seriously do u have a make up artist in evry morning to work on yr faces.. I can see color pallets :p shades & rainbows haha




so do you believe in Dress Code for each place & each occassion ? what is yours ? what restrict things & what not ?

as for my self : I believe in it cause it is should be taught to kids even in homes ,, by parents .. not from outside .. cause u reflect yr home .. your family .. I tend to be simple as much as I can for uni, souk & etc & mornings .. & go more for occassions & etc .. what restrict me is religion .. trying my best .. am not perfect .. I slip & keep slipping .. but trying what I can .. el7mdullah :)

I fall in love with the brand Nick & Nora many years back ( like 5 or 6 years ago ) .. when I 1st saw their PJs on Calista Flockheart in the TV show ( Ally Macbeal ) .. those pretty cozy flannel PJs .. which reminds me of my PJs when I was a baby :p



The master mind behind this brand is Linda Rae .. those famouse Pjs line is based in Manhatten ...
what distinguish this brand is the joyful & colorful patterns on the producs .. the cosmetics bags line is just fantastic .. funky yet elegant .. & durable ..

The prices are very very reasonable .. I got my set this week .. & am in love .. planning 2 get more .. for me , my friend & my sisters .. they are washable .. & light weight but durable ...

me, sis, brother & my sis's friend who was staying over .. we forgot alot of things that we discovered after we sat in the middle of the desert

& GOD !! our friend & my brother were fighting all the time .. he was teasing her while driving .. she was scared from the high sand dunes

we all have those things we cherish .. they don't have to be by a famous designer or have cost you a fortune .. as for my self I love things that are unique .. & I appreciate them more if they designer or the brand wasn't very known ! it just feels like a mystery XD haha .. I looooove shopping in small stores that sells vintage & old stuff .. over here in UAE it can be those stores where the things comes from India or Eastern Asia .. I loooove my earrings ! that's why I kind of haunt my sisters whenever they wear them & forget to return them .. I always say : one day I will give them to my daughter <3

here are couple of my fav ones

I got those from an indian store .. & they were not
that cheap as I thought they will be .. but common
they are incredibly beautiful .. the design .. the pale
golden tone ! they look gorgeous when I wear them ..

from the same store ! & since I always wear blue I got them ..

they are a classic chandelier style ..

I loooooove those .. I wear them alot .. my brother got
them from a store in Lebanon .. & they just look fablouse
when I need that touch of pink !

I fall in love with them @ this store in thailand that day .. we
were walking & we found this small boutique with very elegant
one piece of each item .. & that we have to order if we wanted
more,, the dresses didn't get my attention as those ! pearl, gold
& the surrounding ivory ! I love wearing them most of the time
cause they can fit 2 anythin in my wordrobe..

those were a gift along with other things from a guy who

works with my brother .. I just like them .. they r from Egypt ..
no one @ home was interested in them except me XD .. they are
soooo 80's style ! & the 80's are coming XD , am a girl of the 80's
all the dramatic looks decade haha ..

this trend started for this fall & it's coming strongly for this spring .. & many celebrities worn those pants .. some pulled them well & actually made a statement look & some did not !


in my opinion they should be paired perfectly with specific items such as :
slim fit tops, jackets, scarves, right pieces of accessories & shoes .. tall girls will look awesome in it, but I guess short ones needs very high heels cause they somehow shorten the height a bit !
wither you were looking for a funky tribal look ( soooo trendy nowadays ) or just a minimalist look, sleek & elegant with the harem pants twist ...

rain was heavenly pouring lately .. & freezing weather .. after that day under the rain I stared having sour throat with a bit of flue .. directly started sipping hot liquids along with soup & more vitamin C ..
my vacation about to end in 2 weeks .. & start uni .. I need 2 start writing my list of things that I need & stat shopping .. well, I've finished alot during the last 2 months .. & some atill under process .. I need 2 come with 3bayeh design but for a plain one .. where the sleeves has a cut .. planning 2 wear plain 3bayahs with layered necklaces or pins & broaches .. to change the usual 3bayeh & shaileh sets .. so I can do alot of mix & match with shoes, bags & the necklaces :D

The 133-square-foot master closet in Eva Longoria Parker's L.A. home is full of gorgeous gowns, shoes, shirts—and a coveted Hermes hot-pink crocodile Birkin bag. Taking a glance through her impressive shoe collection she calls her Christian Louboutin espadrille wedges "a beautiful pain" (she sprained her ankle wearing them in Paris) and says she has "always dressed for comfort", which is easily confirmed by the 50 pairs of jeans and more than one pair of Ugg boots. "Tony loves me in Uggs. He says, 'Wear your Hugs, honey'—that's how he pronounces it with his French accent."





The Hilton heiress and designer of fashion lines Chic and Nicholai grew up in hotels, but Nicky Hilton now calls a 1950s two-story ranch above the Sunset Strip home. It boasts two "very organized" couture-filled walk-in closets. Her shoe collection, which isn't raided by her friends or family because of her size 10.5 foot, is organized by designer."My Manolos are together, Chanels are together, Louboutins together." Besides the 200 or more handbags she owns, one of Hilton's prized pieces is a Roberto Cavalli beaded butterfly minidress that the designer gave her for her 24th birthday. "I was in Milan and he told me to pick whatever I wanted from his showroom!" she says.





Kimora Lee Simmons, head of Baby Phat clothing line, combined two bedrooms in her 49,000-square-foot Saddle River, N.J. home to create her expansive walk-in closet. "I wanted my closet to look like a boutique," she says. It contains over 500 pairs of jeans, 35 custom-made Hermes Birkin bags and an extensive collection of jewelry. The closet, which is decorated with leopard-print carpet, marble columns, a mini-bar, and flat screen tvs, only holds some of her clothes—the overflow is stored in other bedroom closets. Everything in her closet is photographed and stored on her computer so she can easily put together outfits, "I'm very neurotic is what my closet says about me," she says. "It's always in great order."





The American Idol judge has an impressive walk-in closet in her 5,000 square foot Mediterranean style home in the San Fernando valley. All her outfits and coordinating accessories are numbered with tags so she can easily pack for trips and events. Her impressive shoe collection is made up mostly of high-heels—"I always wear heels unless I'm working out," says Paula Abdul, who is just over five feet. Even with all of those shoes the former choreographer claims, "A comfortable pair of jeans, a great belt, and a leather jacket is all I need."





The five-time Grammy award winning artist has an enormous, climate controlled closet in her 12,000 square foot Manhattan triplex. However, the vast space still can't contain all of Mariah Carey's shoes. "I have about 1,000 pairs of shoes. But lots are in storage," she says. Carey designed the sweeping space with gold-leaf and bleached-wood floors. "Like Louis Vuitton luggage," she says, "it will only look better over time." Few girls would be able to fill the closet, which is arranged by color and material, as well as in event-specific groupings. "If someone else ever bought it [the apartment], she'd have to be a total diva!"






The Sopranos' actress has completely made-over a 2,700-square-foot Tribeca duplex. "Tribeca is very cool. There's a lot of old architecture and a sense of mystery too." Jamie-Lynn Sigler's 200-square-foot closet was created by Anthony's Custom Closets in Long Island and the new setup helps keep her designer dresses, bags, countless pairs of Genetic jeans, and over 75 pairs of shoes organized. "For years I have not been able to find anything in my closet," says Sigler. "Now I see all my clothes shoes and accessories, even some stuff I completely forgot I had .. with the tags still on them!"





The 28-year-old actress and television correspondent has set up house in a white, Georgian-style home in Hollywood, CA. It was decorated with the help of designer Clayton Asher Doyle, of L.A. furnishing store Plantation. She transformed a massive upstairs space into Maria Menounos' "office/hair-makeup-and-dressing room," which houses her Azzaro and Calvin Klein gowns, 50 pairs of jeans, blazers, sweaters, and a cedar walk-in closet devoted mostly to rows of shoes and boots. Even with such an impressive closet, Menounos claims, "I hate shopping. Really. I used to go to the mall once a year and just stock up on white T-shirts, tanks, socks and necessities. Now I need nice clothes for my career."
